Haile Coffee was started by the greatest long-distance runner, Haile Gebreselassie. Growing up in a farm in Ethiopia, Haile had seen the value of agriculture, and especially coffee, to the country and its people. Our coffee is grown with his three principals of success: hard work, discipline and commitment. We make sure to always integrate these principles into our entire line of production.
Our core values also follow his beliefs of respect for the whole of the natural environment on which we depend as we work to conserve the planet.

We seek to achieve excellence as we aim to produce, process and export top quality, traceable micro lot Ethiopian coffee to the global specialty and sustainable coffee market.
The production, processing and export of our coffee is all done by us to ensure the best traceability of our single-origin beans. The co?ee processing line is constructed to be well-structured, so that all the activities of farming, processing and export are focused on delivering quality co?ee consistently to ensure top level customer satisfaction.
Haile Honey
The honey is free of antibiotics, pesticides, and pollutants. Our organic honey has been tested by Ethiopian Conformity Assessment Enterprise as well as Bless Agri. Food Laboratory Services PLC and the results show that the moisture content is less than 20% and pesticide residue less than 0.01 mg/kg which shows that the honey is one of the best products produced in the country.
Honey is also a nutritional powerhouse, containing glucose, fructose, and numerous minerals including calcium, iron, copper, phosphate, sodium chlorine, magnesium, manganese, and potassium. Vitamins in honey include B6, niacin, riboflavin, thiamin, pantothenic acid and a number of amino acids. It is also quite acidic with a pH between 3.2. and 4.5 which helps to prevent the growth of bacteria. It is also rich with protective antioxidants.
The honey is collected from the traditional and modern beehives that are harvested directly from the natural forests of Sheka. Haile Honey™ shall hit the European market after completion of the ongoing expansion project at our facility in Masha Town.
