Our Founders, Dr. & Mrs. Badiani were pioneers having set-up a small but the first Private Medical Syringe Manufacturing plant. From the Mid 90’s till 2008, Kenyan syringes were being exported across the region. Kenya’s turbulent political history after the turn of the decade, eventually culminating in the 2007 election violence and sadness, meant economic conditions took a down turn and a decision then had to be made to shut the plant down. At the time Kenya was in serious need of emergency medical supplies to cater for the injured, and through AMML’s established network of international suppliers, we were able to source and supply these critical items. A new business model was thus born and AMML went into the business of sourcing and suppling a vast range of single-use critical care products, hospital equipment and furniture. During the Pandemic in 2020, AMML was able to contribute to keeping Kenyan’s safe through our ability to quickly deliver Infection Prevention & Personal Protective Care essential supplies, not just to Health Care facilities, but also to the hospitality Sector hence helping to keep all public facilities safe. 2022 Country Data indicates an alarmingly high rate of the spread in HIV infection cases, indicating a potentially huge cost and burden of healthcare services burden in the future. HIV and other STD’s remain a big challenge in the attainment of the millennium development goals. AMML is at now at the fore-front of helping change public mindset and is offering affordable solutions to the public.
