Road Marking and Services (Pty) Ltd is a 100% Botswana citizen owned and managed company, with its head office in Gaborone, while field crews tackle projects country wide. The company was formed in 1994 in order to establish a reliable, efficient and professional road marking contractor to serve the Botswana market, and eventually expand to neighbouring countries.   Road marking Road marking activity has served as the back bone of the company for over a decade and still serves as the company's trademark. The importance of road traffic markings can never be underestimated when dealing with road safety as they ensure good visibility of the road during the day and at night. Just like traffic signs, there are regulatory, warning and guidance markings that may constitute a traffic offence when contravened and attract a penalty.   The company has acquired specialised equipment for road marking and offers plant-hire services to other companies requiring such services. The company has virtually been to every corner of Botswana and are proud to have been associated with reputable construction companies such Asphalt Botswana, WHBO, Stocks & Stocks Botswana.   Road Studs The introduction of road studs (cats' eye as sometimes referred to) has revolutionised the road marking industry, making driving less difficult at night and during adverse weather conditions when road line markings are not visible. The company specialises in Avery brand of road studs and are leading distributors of the studs throughout Botswana.   Signage Southern African Development Community (SADC) member states have adopted Protocol Agreement with the intention to harmonize road traffic signs and road markings, and their supporting regulations throughout member states. SADC Road Traffic Signs Manual was therefore designed with detailed signage and road marking policy and principles, giving complete dimensional details. Road Marking and Services (Pty) Ltd have acquainted themselves with the said manuals to ensure all markings and signs comply with the defined specifications.   Road Signs  The SADC specifications among others, address the following components; Dimensional tolerances Retro - reflective materials Road sign board materials Sign placement   The company has since forged a relationship with Avery Dennison South Africa, one of the leading manufacturers of reflective materials and vinyl worldwide, and all our signs are constructed using Avery products, and comply with SADC Road Traffic Signs Manual.  

Propeller Shafts or Propshafts of almost all of the vehicles on Botswana's roads can be manufactured, repaired, reconditioned and balanced in our workshop, as can those propshafts for most Earthmoving Equipment and Industrial Machinery. Our services range from small universal joints on steering linkages to large propshafts on haulers and earthmoving equipment. We stock a broad range of quality replacement parts and if we don't have a particular part in stock, we can usually source it by the following day.All of the work is carried out within our Gaborone Workshop by our experienced and trained staff, and in most cases we can provide a same day service provided that the propshaft is delivered by 10am. Our valued customers range from the general public to companies, motor dealers and The Botswana Government. We are accredited to the CTO and provide a regular service to District Councils, Sub-District Councils, Statals and Para-Statals. We also enjoy a good relationship with dealerships such as Motor Centre (Toyota/Hino), Motor Holdings (Isuzu) and Broadhurst Motors (Nissan). Sable Manufacturing (PTY) Ltd. trading as Propshaft Centre was incorporated in 1990 and was the first company of its kind established in Botswana. Prior to this date the work was undertaken by our sister company Sable Engineering (PTY) LTD.
