Sea Products Ltd. is committed to producing and marketing frozen seafood products of the highest quality with special emphasis on product safety, through a well-trained and competent workforce" FACT SHEET ESTABLISHED 1996, started operations in 1998 LOCATION Tanga, Tanzania OWNERSHIP Frank Cuppens, Eric Allard, Vally Allard PRODUCTS Frozen Octopus, Cuttlefish, Squid, Spiny Lobster, Sand Lobster, Crab, Prawns and Finfish Sea Products Ltd. processes octopus, squid, cuttlefish, lobster, crab, prawns (saltwater), and finfish. It buys them from local artisan fishers, and stores and transports them on its vast, efficient transport cold chain to the processing plant. At the plant the products arrive daily and are cleaned, processed, frozen, packed, and stored, ready for customer delivery. All frozen export shipments are in 20-foot or 40-foot reefer containers shipped through the port of Tanga. Weekly vessels call at the port. Sea Products Ltd. was formed in Tanga in 1996. It grew out of a family business created by Eric Allard, Vally Allard, and Frank Cuppens in 1993. In 1998 Sea Products Ltd. moved into their new and state-of-the-art seafood processing plant. The new plant is located within the SIDO Industrial Estate compound in Tanga. In building the new plant, Sea Products Ltd. used the experience of its owners to convert four unutilized buildings into their new 1,500 m2 processing plant. In designing and constructing the new processing plant, Sea Products Ltd. implemented the requirements outlined in EEC Council Directive 91/493/EEC that governs the construction of seafood processing plants that intend to manufacture products destined for the EEC market. In addition to that, a Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) system of processing was implemented to ascertain that the company's objective, as described in the mission statement, was achieved.

At this point we have Wellega type and Humera type. Kaleb exports Humera sesame for foreign market and prepares 99.9% clean organic Sesame according to the lab test conducted by Salamon and Seabar laboratory . Organic Sesame in Humera is cultivated by commercial farmers. CoffeeKaleb Services Farmers House started exporting organic coffee in 2002 and since that time the organic Sidamo and Yerga Cheffee coffee of Kaleb are in great demand. This is because Kaleb ensures and keeps the quality and standards of coffee for export.
