SERVISCOPE (E.A) LTD was formed on 1st July 1981 and is a company that is affiliated to the Serviscope Group of companies, a family owned enterprise. Its core business activities include supply, manufacture and dealers in commercial kitchen, laundry, refrigeration and bakery equipment. Today Serviscope (E.A) Ltd is one of the largest and leading suppliers of kitchen, laundry, refrigeration equipment and bakery machinery in East Africa, having supplied, installed and serviced these equipments over the past 28 years and employing a staff of over 40 people. Inception The company started off purely as an importer of bakery machinery from the UK and Europe. The concept of bakery is well routed within the family tree since the parents of the promoters were operating bakeries in East Africa in the early 1950's and 60's. This gave the inspiration to the present Directors to continue the family tradition and instead of being bakers they diversified into marketing bakery equipment, a concept which they favoured and had confidence in as having a future market potential.
