Established in 1998, United Grease and Lubricants is one of the most reputed manufacturers of premium quality lubricants & greases in the United Arab Emirates.
“Scope” branded lubricants were introduced in the year 2001. The plant has undergone a series of developments and expansion during the last few years. Presently the plant has the capacity to blend and fill 70,000 M/T of finish lubricants per annum. In addition to this, 4,000 M/T of Lithium Grease and 1,000 M/T of Calcium Grease are manufactured and filled at the existing facility.
The company's state-of-the-art blending facility is located in Ajman and caters for a capacity of 140,000 MT per year with lubricant products ranging from Automotive, Marine, Industrial, Hydraulic, Brake Fluids, Gear oil, ATF, cutting oil and other specialty lubricants as well as Lithium and Calcium based Greases serving customer needs in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, India Subcontinent, Central Asia, Africa, Europe and South America.
The company sources its base stock from internationally approved base oil manufacturers and products are blended using additives supplied by reputable additive manufacturers (like Lubrizol, Ethyl/ Afton, Oronite & Infenium).
The company’s branded lubricants are exported to various markets around the globe like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Kenya, India, Myanmar, Indonesia, Lebanon, Jordan, Afghanistan, CIS countries, and most of East and West Africa.
The comprhensive product range comprises of Automotive, Industrials and Marine Lubricants along with Auto Coolants, Brake Fluids, Lithium and calcium based Greases. The company also carries out third-party blending and filling for reputable multinational and national brands.
Approvals & Certifications
All the automotive products manufactured at the plant meet API classifications and
necessary API certifications on top tier products are available. United Grease and
Lubricants have approved OEM’s certificates from most of the original engine
manufactures like Mercedes Benz, Volvo, Cummins, Cincinnati machines and Nmma for
TC-W3.
The UGL facility has been approved by the Emirates Authority for Standardization & Metrology. All the facilities operated by United Grease and Lubricants have achieved ISO 9001 – 2008, ISO 14001: 2004 and OHSAS 18001: 2007 certificates.
The product quality is maintained at each stage of production to ensure that the end product meet the highest international quality requirements of equipment and machines. In order to maintain strict quality standards UGL operates a fully equipped laboratory under the supervision and guidance of qualified engineers/technicians.
