BATTERY POWER 2000 In 1983 Richard Channer was appointed by Deltec Power Distributors to market the finest battery brand in the world, namely the Delco Freedom sealed lead calcium maintenance-free batteries. During the 1980’s, the products made for the South African market by Delco Remy were subsequently branded Deltec batteries and were distributed in Cape Town by Battery Power 2000. Since that time, Delco Remy had changed their brand name to Delphi and in July 2003, Channer Battery Enterprises t/a Battery Power 2000, was appointed as distributor for the Delphi Freedom range of lead calcium maintenance-free batteries. It is with great pleasure that we can now announce the arrival of the latest addition to the Delphi range - Delphi AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) batteries, suited to a wide variety of applications. Besides the many years of experience in the Delphi/Delco battery technology field, Battery Power 2000 are appointed distributors of Panasonic valve regulated sealed lead calcium batteries, Hawkins battery chargers, Optima Spiralcell and Haze AGM and gelled batteries.
