The warehouse comprises of a team of sixty (30) dedicated staff headed by the Manager who has wealth of experience in warehouse management spanning to over 20 years with various organizations within the group. The company has invested in a fleet of modern vehicles of various capacities to drive distribution; they include  10 ton trucks designed for volume distribution and employed for long distance distribution mainly outside the capital city and to towns across the country. 5 and 7 ton trucks service the local market within the central business district and the city precincts. All vehicles of 2 tons and below serve the local market and service distribution conceived to be below the 5 tons and to areas that cannot be serviced by the big trucks ; they come in handy also for distribution to the general trade. In an effort to ensure safety and security in distribution all vehicle are comprehensively insured and tracked in real time.

Our quality control department monitors the produce journey from planting, harvesting, transportation, processing, packing and cooling of the produce till its intended destination. At each of this stages quality is enhanced based on international best practices: Planting At this stage of our operations our quality department sources for certified seeds for our independent farmers to ensure that the seeds germinate to produce export quality fresh produce while monitoring the cultivation and the spraying of crops. Harvesting At harvesting stage our quality assurance department monitors each independent farmer under our program to ensure that international best practices are used while harvesting the crop to avoid defects such as mechanical damages and thripe marks. Transportation ProFresh has invested extensively in it transportation process to ensure that produce from the farm to the factory is well handled and transported using refrigerated tracks to keep it fresh till its intended destination. Processing After inspection of fresh produce from our independent farmers and the certified bodies the fresh produce undergoes sorting and cutting to specifications after which they are packed into punnets , bags and loose packs according to the specification of the client. Packing At packing stage our quality assurance team assesses the fresh produce to be exported and determines the best packaging based on handling, transportation, and the freshness of the produce by using perforation bags. Cooling Cooling remains a key quality component of our fresh produce to ensure freshness by maintaining a constant temperature during the transportation process to the export process.
