Visitors can choose to participate in short service learning opportunities that take to heart the concept of "travel as the best education in life". Our Healing Safaris have been created to help address modern-day health and wellness concerns while journeying through the stunning landscapes of Tanzania. A type of "mobile-safari-spa", your daily schedule includes Maasai yoga class, meditation, instruction on healthy eating and mind-body wellness techniques; all while honouring the rhythms of nature in the African bush in stylish accommodation that sweetly ignites your soul.  Joining a Healing Safari includes follow-up when you return to your home country to assist you in integrating newfound mind-body wisdom into your daily lifestyle. Culture & Wildlife Tours are for travellers who are looking for more than a conventional African safari. We take you on personal visits to the home areas of several of Tanzania's fascinating ethnic groups where you can experience some of their culture, especially in relation to their natural surroundings and wildlife. People-to-People Safaris helps to support Terrawatu, a charitable, non-governmental organization founded in 2001 that creates sincerely successful sustainable development projects rooted in communities around Tanzania.

Parks Adventure is an independent specialist travel company. Parks Adventure's proprietors and guides have been active in the tour industry in East Africa for more than 25 years and are experts in the field. They are backed by a small, committed team of travel professionals who really do have a passion for what they are doing.  From the very beginning, the company's central tenet was to offer safaris which were inspiring to travelers, but also brought benefits to the local people, wildlife and environment of the destination. Parks Adventure has a focus on the local people, who, at the time the company began, tended not be getting a fair deal in the world of tourism. We wanted to change this, as we believe that local people should benefit from tourism and from their own natural resources.  Without involving local people, good quality tourism is not sustainable. If local people can not benefit from their own natural resources, such as national parks, why should they protect them? Parks Adventure is especially proud of the repeat business it has garnered over the years. The director and primary manager, maintains associations with many previous clients who have reveled in their safari experiences, remain in contact and return yet again for even more African adventures. Our holidays are mainly tailor made and we currently cover the following destinations: Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda & Zanzibar and we really do know the places that we sell. We are members of the travel industry association of TATO (Tanzania Association of Tour Operators) and ATA (Africa Travel Association). This means that our clients are fully protected.
